Because we are a family owned and operated business in a remote location, we count on your ability to fulfill your reservation. Our cancellation policy is clearly detailed on our website and in all confirmation letters. Elkins Resort recommends that all of our guests purchase some type of trip insurance to make sure you are protected against unforeseen events.
We have chosen to partner with Travel Guard to give our guests the ability to have a worry free vacation from the booking stage all the way through your last day of vacation. As per our reservation policies most guests will find that this insurance will help them make sure they can be reimbursed if a vacation at Elkins Resort needs to be cancelled. All payments for trip insurance and reimbursement are handled through Travel Guard and will be a separate charge from your cabin reservations.
